Should Normal People be able to Carry a Gun

My debate topic is "Should Normal People be able to Carry a Gun"  I think they shouldn't but here are some pros and cons
        The Yes Side

• What would happen if someone is attacking you, you should be able to protect yourself
• What if you live in the woods and some animals attack you, you should be able to protect yourself

        The No Side

• You hear shooting reports on the news but you will never have to hear it again
• I've also seen reports about kids getting a hold of their parents guns an accidentally shooting themselfs 
• Also some of these people are a little bit crazy take these guns and shoot.

Worst Christmas Present

So every Christmas day I go to my grandma's house where our family would eat and exchange presents. I have a good time but last year my aunt gave me something grotesque that I nearly cried all the way home. So as you may know I love hockey. I love to play it and watch it like the Chicago Blackhawks. So my aunt walks up with a rectangular box with a green wrapping paper. She gives it to me and says " I thought I can give you something different this year!" So I take the box gently open it and see something that burned my eyes. A Detroit Red Wings tee shirt. In my mind I was crying but the outside I was like "Oh thanks" so I wouldn't be rude. Well that was my worst present.

This quote is so great that it's telling me to think different in life and not just the same thing over and over again. If you ever talk to my friends they would tell you that I don't try to fit in. I act like myself and my friends like me for that. So when we have a problem in our hands we never have the same idea because we are unique. motivation
